Itinerary

Stop 1
We will visit Duffus Castle on our 1st stop. The castle was in use from 1140 to 1705. Originally it was a wooden structure and it was replaced with one of stone. We will stop here for around 30-40 minutes. There is no charge to visit this castle and there is an approximate walk of 5 minute walk from the car park.

Stop 2
Our 2nd stop will be at Spynie Palace also known as Spynie Castle. It was the fortified seat for about 500 years. Spynie Palace was in use between 1150 to 1689. We will stop here for around 30-40 minutes. There is a charge to visit this castle (see below) and there is an approximate walk of 5 minute walk from the car park

Stop 3
We will stop at our 1st whisky distillery - Glen Moray. Here at Glen Moray, you will gain an insight into how water and barley are transformed into 'the water of life'. There is a charge for this tour (see Below). You will be able to spend around 1 hour here. It is highly recommended to pre book this tour, the tour time is 11:30. Stop 4
We will pause our tour for something to eat. We will call into Craigellachie and stop at one of the local Pubs.

Stop 5
After lunch we will head to The MaCallan Distillery. The distillery is surrounded by a 485 acre estate. Founded in 1824 it was one of the first to be legally licensed. There is a charge for this tour (see Below). You will be able to spend around 1 hour here. It is highly recommended to pre book this tour, the tour time is 13:30. The Tour is priced at £15 for all visitors. This includes an alcoholic beverage for visitors over 18 years old.

Stop 6
We will go to our last whisky distillery stop at Aberlour Distillery. Steeped in centuries of legend and surrounded by the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour lies at the very heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey. There is a charge for this tour (see Below). You will be able to spend around 1.5 hours here. It is highly recommended to pre book this tour, the tour time is 13:30. Stop 7
On our way back, we will call into the Speyside Cooperage. Speyside Cooperage, home of the ancient art of coopering since 1947. Watch master craftsmen at work while they make and repair casks. There is a charge for this tour (see Below). You will be able to spend around 1 hour here. It is highly recommended to pre book this tour, the tour time is 16:30. Classic Tour
A guide will accompany you through the exhibition which includes an informative 4-D cinematic presentation audio visual presentation followed by a visit to our viewing gallery where you can watch first hand our Coopers at work accompanied by one of their knowledgeable guides. Booking is advisable particularly in Summer months.
