ABOUT US

Guia Brasileira nos Highlands - Terras Altas da Escócia.

History

Steve French and Claudia Vasto created More in Moray Tours and Transport in April 2020, after having travelled across North Highlands in the past and falling for everything that the area has to offer. They left England and moved to the Scottish Highlands in February 2020.

Steve is a professional driver with more than 10 years of experience in the transport industry, driving coaches and private hire cars.

Claudia has been working in the tourism and airline industries since 1998. Previously holding a degree in Tourism Management and a Master’s degree in Air Transport Planning and Management, she completed her HOSTGA Tour Guide course in May 2023, being accredited by the Highlands of Scotland Tour Guide Association. She also completed her studies with Edinburgh Whisky Academy and obtained a Certificate in Scotch Whisky. Between 2017 and 2023, she was working on a part-time basis as an Associate Lecturer in Tourism Management and Aviation Management subjects at various UK universities.

Combining a true passion for the covered regions with their professional skills and experiences within the Tourism and Transportation industries, More in Moray Tours and Transport team is focused on offering their clients a professional and personalized service. They are here to help clients and customers and to create special and memorable experiences, whichever is an airport transfer or a multiday bespoke private tour.

Mission

Our Mission is to drive you safely and comfortably across the region and to show what Moray Speyside and beyond have to offer. The company is committed to delivering a professional service to all clients, with a strong focus on customer experience.

Our goal at More in Moray Tours and Transport is to provide punctual, reliable, and affordable service and we are looking forward to welcoming you onboard our vehicle.

Vision

Our vision is to become an advocate of tourism activities in our local region, inspiring people to visit the area, for leisure or business purposes in a sustainable way.

Nurturing relationships with local and regional partners and communities. We aim to always support local businesses when possible.

Environmentally, we contribute to minimising the impact of our diesel vehicle by supporting a regional environmental charity in planting trees in the Scottish Highlands.

COVID-19 updates and procedures

Private Tours, Taxis and Private Hire vehicle

Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle operators may have put in place new measures to help with physical distancing. You may wish to confirm payment arrangements to avoid, if possible, cash transactions. We recommend before starting your journey you wash or sanitize your hands.

On your journey

You should wear a face-covering* unless you are not required by law.  See further Scottish Government guidance on face-covering and exemptions.

You should also be aware of the surfaces, like door handles, you or others touch.

Be considerate to your driver by taking all your belongings and rubbish when leaving the vehicle.

 * Subject to the latest guidance from the Scottish Government.

Completing your journey

When finishing your journey, you should deposit any of your used tissues or rubbish in bins. We recommend you wash or sanitize your hands (and children’s hands if you are travelling with them) as soon as possible.

The vehicle is cleaned after every trip and is sprayed with an antibacterial disinfectant spray. This includes the door handle, seats, and seat belts. A deep clean is done regularly.
